Whosoever Shall Lose Their Life

If you live authentically, you will, at some point, inevitably tick someone off.
If you take care of yourself, you, at some point will lose some kind of worldly success in doing so. Do it anyway.
If you know you will fail at something and know you need to do it, do it any way.
If you know you need to say something in a situation and you know you will be shot down, say it anyway.
If you love someone and you don't know if they will love you back, love them anyway.
If you are afraid to live, you will at some point get hurt. Live fully anyway.
If you are happy, at some point you will face disappointment or others will be jealous of your happiness. Be happy anyway.
If you work hard for something and obtain success, and others are jealous of what you have worked for, work for it anyway.
If you work hard for something and don't obtain success, it may lead to disappointments. Work hard anyway.
If you know that a risk stands a good chance of failure. Try anyway.

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is error, the truth;
Where there is doubt, the faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled, as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
